Behaviour Expectations

Behaviour

Our Trust values and respects all staff, children and visitors to the Tall Oaks Academy Trust.

We aim to treat each individual fairly, promote a consistent approach to behaviour expectations and foster mutual respect.

Our approach supports pupils to self-regulate and become responsible for their own behaviour, we have high expectations of our children, which are driven by our four key values; resilience, aspiration, engagement and well-being.

All members of the Trust, adults and children, are expected to behave considerately. All staff and visitors are expected to adhere to, high standards of behaviour are expected at all times.

Suspensions & Exclusions

Only the head teacher of a school can suspend or exclude a pupil, this will be a final step (as outlined in the above Behaviour Policy) and will only be on disciplinary grounds.

A pupil may be suspended for one or more fixed periods (up to a maximum of 45 school days in a single academic year), or permanently.
